Nova
Nova is the troupe’s Magical Advisor and was Pan’s personal assistant before his disappearance.
From a young age, Nova was instantly attracted to the crystals of the earth and the stars of the sky. While her younger sister Onyx loved to explore the world around them, Nova was interested in what the stars foretold. She often stumbled and tripped over her hoofs as her gaze was directed upward. One night, while strolling alone she tumbled down a cliff hurting herself and breaking her horns in the process. Luckily Onyx found her and was able to guide Pan to aid her. After Nova recovered she was able to magically embed crystals into her horns. After her accident, Nova hardly left Pan’s side, assisting in his day-to-day magic. Nova feels responsible for not predicting Pan’s disappearance or being able to predict where he’s gone.
Nova’s love for crystals and other shiny things has only grown, she has a love for jewelry and is hardly ever seen without it. She loves a good party and never misses a chance to host or attend.
While others in the troupe are adept at “roughing it”, Nova prefers to be pampered. Often labeled as vain, Nova insists that there is nothing wrong with loving how you look. She’s noticed in the human realm, that there are some beings who do not love themselves and has made it her personal mission to help others see their light within.
Nova is portrayed by Beth, a Midwest Cosplayer. Beth has been a member of the cosplay community since 2008, and has been active in the Renaissance Faire community for several years.
